Mohammad Fard, Director of Coaching
Mohammad Fard came to the United States at the age of fourteen having played two years of high school soccer in Iran. Upon moving to California’s Santa Ynez Valley, he broke all scoring records for his high school team and was an all-league first team forward.
Although recruited by Iowa State University as a football place kicker, Mohammad Fard opted to attend Youngstown State University and joined the soccer team. As a top recruit, he broke school records and was given Athlete of the Week honors.
Mohammad Fard was recognized as one of the 75 United States recipients of an NCAA fifth year scholarship and lettered in wrestling while pursuing academic excellence. He achieved inclusion on the Dean’s List and graduated in sociology with a minor in mathematics and social work.
Mohammad Fard enhanced his expertise as a result of private training with South American coaches and has been holding soccer clinics throughout the state of Ohio for the past twenty-one years. Mohammad Fard is entering his second season as Assistant Coach of the Cleveland State University Men’s Soccer team. Mohammad Fard’s top level professional and collegiate experience will guide you to the full potential of your abilities.
